Head of Product Marketing (m/f/d)
You don’t need to have participated in the Dakar Rally and you don’t need to know how to replace the radiator grill of a Land Rover Defender – but some love for adventure, trips into remote regions and crazy vehicles would be nice to have.
As the Head of Product Marketing you hold a university degree in an engineering field or in business with a strong personal interest in engineering, especially software. You have experience in developing marketing strategies and innovative ways to attract customers in a highly competitive market on the verge of automotive and consumer electronics. You did not just do market research and write memos on what would be a good strategy but you are used to bring your ideas to reality. You love to rethink a technical solution with the nerds to build a product that customers actually love. Besides convincing communication skills you have strong competences to measure market size, customer demand and your own successes.
You are used to work in an agile environment with cross-functional teams and besides all the buzzwords your English is fluent and you speak some decent German.
At Bareways you will evaluate and stimulate demand in automotive, overlanding, globetrotter and off-road communities for a location-based service, advanced driver assistance and route planning tools. You will be responsible for the marketing campaign prior and parallel to the market launch. You will design user questionnaires, business development demos, schedule events, prepare white papers, infographics, c-level drawings and presentations.
You will have flexible working hours of in total 40 hours per week – and in the unlikely event of a night shift, we will adequately compensate that with free time. And if you ever require some extra time for your children, family or a trip around the world, we will find an appropriate working time model for you.
We at Bareways want to bring advanced mobility services to all those regions & roads in the world that have been neglected up to now. Safety and sustainability are key values as well as adventure and fun.
Our offices are located on a technology campus in Lübeck, Germany – with a big park next door for lunch breaks, sport activities or a joint barbecue.
Caution! If you only look for excessive off-road challenges, relaxed working hours or chatting about the latest road trip, we might not be the perfect fit for you. We are building products that need to fulfil highest automotive quality standards; our customers shall count on the reliability of our technology especially at the end of the world when everything else fails. We will take these challenges with an innovative mindset and seriousness.
If you are interested in this adventure, if you want to grow with a young startup, if you are not afraid of making mistakes (and learn from them), and if you are willing to take new barely visible ways – come and join us.
